Apostle Laura Peeler Singleton, 68 of 323      Morrison St Shelby NC went to be with the Lord,     Monday November 23, 2015 at her home.  She was born May 20,1947 in Cleveland County to Ms. Pauline Peeler.  She was preceded in death by her mother, brother Edward (Zeek) Peeler and Parental grandparents Zone and Frances Peeler.                                    
     She was an associate Minister at Community Baptist Church of Lawndale, Inc. under the                Leadership of Pastor Thomas Ramseur. She taught Sunday school, bible study and new convert classes. Not only did she teach at Community she also taught at other churches in the area. She recently taught and minister God’s word at His Higher    Calling Ministries Shelby NC with Pastor Linda Howard. Enlightening Gods people about his word Teaching was her passion.                                     
     Apostle Laura Singleton founder and coordinator of (Women In Ministry) was a licensed ordained minister of God who accepted Christ in 1969, was called into the Ministry in 1971 and called to be an apostle in 2003.                                                              
 Apostle Singleton was educated through the Cleveland County School System, Cleveland      Community College, Gardner Webb University and Heavens Avenue Baptist University where she holds a bachelor degree in theology. In her studies she was able to receive a counseling degree through Wake Forest University for at risk       Children. She taught at Heaven’s Avenue Baptist Seminary. She was a renowned gospel Preacher and Teacher who taught Gods word throughout North and South Carolina. She loves to teach Gods word.
Left to cherish her memory are four children,    Tisan S. Lenair, Douglas A. Singleton of Shelby NC, David T. Singleton (Gleniss) of Jacksonville FL, and Derrick L Singleton of Lacey Washington. Six grandchildren Ramona D. Addison (Jeffery), Reginald D. Singleton Shelby, NC , David                   Singleton Jr., Vashaun Perkins (Dion)                    Jacksonville FL. Joshua D. Singleton Spokane              Washington,      Elun Watkins Forest City NC and seven great grandchildren.   One brother Boyd Lee Peeler, five sister Joycelyn Peeler, Bernadine  Cunningham, Elizabeth Peeler, Sandra Peeler and Norma Peeler and a host of nieces, nephews,  cousins and friends.

The family will be receiving friends from 6 until 7pm, Friday, November 27, 2015 at Genesis Funeral Services & Chapel

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 am, Saturday, November 28, 2015 at First Baptist Lawndale

Burial will take place at Community Bapt. Church, Lawndale
