Shirley Ann Wright

Shelby-Ms. Shirley Ann Wright, 65, of 1101 Toms St., was born on September 6, 1949 in Cleveland County to Pauline Sims Wright and the late Calvin Wright Sr. Shirley left her earthly life on Monday, August 31, 2015 at Cleveland Regional Medical Center in Shelby, NC.  Shirley attended Shelby High School. She was employed with Century Care for 20 years. She was a very kindhearted, friendly and caring person. She loved singing and spending time with her grandchildren.                               

In addition to her father, Shirley was preceded in death by a brother, Terry Wright.                                             

Shirley will remain in the hearts of her daughters; Shonda( Fulvio) Brooks, and Tetria Wright; a son, Ronald Wright, all of Shelby, NC; two sisters, Diane( Steve) Archie and Denise( Maurice) Darby, both of Shelby, NC; four brothers, Calvin Wright, Steve Wright, Michael Wright, all of Shelby, NC and Clifton Lott of California; five aunts, Mary Parks of Charlotte, NC, Hazel Cherry, Theresa( Edward) Gullatte, Ollie Merriweather and Carolyn Wright , all of Shelby, NC; one uncle, Isiah Russell; five      grandchildren, Shenice Wright, Chasity Thompson, Courtney Brooks, Cameron Brooks and Cory Brooks; three great-grandchildren, Ca’Liyah Parks, Chalyn Parks and Ca’Maya Parks; special cousins, Betty Allison, Nancy Gash and Mary Harper of Alabama; special friends, Carolyn Griffin, Lisa Jones, Sandra McCluney, Eunice Brooks and Slyvia Poole Hush and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Funeral Services 2:00pm, Saturday, September 5, 2015 at Hoppers Chapel Baptist Church

The family will receive friends at 1:30 pm at the church and at other times at 1116 Earl St., Shelby NC

Burial will take place at Sunset Cemetery
