This great man of God was special to me because he saw when I was down and always had an encouraging word. One of the Greatest of Gods will and is a true testament about the Love and Power Of God be as real as the sun rising in the east and setting in the west.

My Thoughts and Prayers go out to my Family in this time of sorrow. Uncle Furman will surely be missed by many. Uncle Furman Jr. has been a positive influence in my life for a long time; I watched and looked up to him as I was growing up, and now in manhood he has has direct influence on my life, showing me how to be a stronger Christian man! He was there for me, as well as many others, in situations that highlighted his caring, giving Spirit and Loving Heart. I am forever grateful for his example and will forever miss that big smile and his concern for how everything is with me.

I am so grateful to have known Furman Wilson. He would come to my office to get materials to take with him to visit in the jail ministry and always brightened my day when he was here. His smile and gentle nature reflected the love of Christ wherever he went and he will be greatly missed by so many. My deepest sympathy to his family and his church family and others who mourn his passing.

My sincere condolence in the home going of your love one. I met Mr. Wilson over 10 years ago at the Dallas Correctional Prison during my volunteer work. It was always a joy to see his smiling face and always listening to everyone else problems and never focusing on himself; always serving God faithfully and caring for others. Always greeting you with a big "tickled smile" Mr. Wilson "our assistant Chaplin" was dedicated to his calling.
We will surely miss him on this side and will one day join him on the other side.
My prayers and thoughts are with you all as God take you through this season.

Praying for the family. I have heard My parents speak fondly of Furmon Wilson. Having lost our mother this year, we can recognize your pain. Great Uncle Furmon has completed his earthly journey and he is with God. Can you picture the look on his face when he saw Jesus for the first time. With all our love.
