Willie Azalee "Highshoe" Baldwin

Gaffney – Willie Azalee “Highshoe” Baldwin age 80 of 130 Holland Street, Gaffney, SC., transitioned from this life on Friday, February 16, 2024 at Cherokee Medical Center. She was the daughter of the late Claude Clayton Byers and Sallie Bell Byers.

She was preceded in death by a daughter; Sandra Watkins.

She leaves to cherish fond memories, seven daughters; Mary Burris, Teresa Smith, Tangelia Dawkins, Aggie Gregory (Charles), Peggy Tate, Virgie Thomas (Marcus) all of Gaffney, SC., Angela Evans (Michael) of Covington, Louisiana. Two sons, Charles E. Dawkins Jr. of Gaffney, SC., Vincent Dawkins (Rathelis) of Raeford, NC., twenty grandchildren, fifty great-grandchildren and a host of great-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Funeral service will be Saturday, February 24,2024 at 3:30 pm at Limestone Baptist Church. Burial will follow at Pine Grove Baptist Church Cemetery, Blacksburg, SC. No viewing at the funeral home. Public viewing only at the church.

The family is receiving friends at the residence.
