William Henry Palmer

Gaffney – William Henry Palmer, 57, of 227 Camellia Circle, transitioned on April 20, 2026, at his home.

Born on September 3, 1968, he was the beloved son of the late Bo June and Saphees Palmer. He was a proud member of the graduating 1986 class of Gaffney High School, where he played football as a Gaffney Indian, (1985 Championship Team & Hall of Fame Recipient). He was known for his determination, resilience, and quiet strength that would continue to define his life.  

He was united in marriage to A. Machelle Palmer, and together they shared a life rooted in love, family, and enduring commitment. He leaves behind five children- Ashley, Latrice, Reginald (Trae), Shaun (Terri), and Ryan- each of whom carries a part of his legacy.

Also surviving are his siblings- Debra, Loretta, Joyce, Harold, Eddie, Paul, Jimmy-Dean, & Steve and a hosts of nieces & nephews. 

Funeral Services will be Tuesday, April 28, 2026, at 1:00 pm at Concord Baptist Church.

The family is receiving friends at the residence.
