Gaffney – Sherry Denise Lipscomb age 46 of 116 Apache Drive, Gaffney SC., transitioned from this life on Tuesday, September 7,2021 at her residence. She was the daughter of Ronnie Lipscomb and Rosetta Valentine Lipscomb. She was preceded in death by her grandfathers; Arthur Lee Valentine and Sammy Lee Dunn, grandmothers; Sarah Watkins Valentine and Lessie M. Lipscomb, two aunts; Magalene Harris and Jeanette McGimsey, three uncles; Nathaniel Valentine, Michael Lipscomb, Sonny Valentine, and a grandchild; AliJah Holmes.

She leaves to cherish fond memories: her husband of 36 years, Marquis B. Holmes, four daughters, Qutella Lipscomb, Ashley Lipscomb, Markelia Holmes and Tequila Holmes all of Gaffney, SC, three sisters; Diana P. Lipscomb, Tameka L. Lipscomb (Kerry Jefferies) and Lora Smith (Shawn), four aunts; Flora Watkins, Aliene Wilkins (Terry), Christine Lipscomb and Alphine Lipscomb, four uncles; Leon Valentine (Fannie), Thomas Valentine, William Lipscomb Sr., and Richard Lipscomb, nine grandchildren; Cam, Rere, Auna, Tt, Lay, Juju, Tay, KK, and Jr.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, September 15, 2021 at 2:00pm in the Genesis Funeral Cremation Services & Chapel. Interment will be in the Prayer, Praise and Deliverance Cathedral Cemetery.
