Shalonda Rachelle Meyer

Gaffney – Shalonda Rachelle Meyer, age 38, of 205 Serene Dr. Gaffney, SC; transitioned from this earthly life on Sunday, August 21 ,2022 at her residence. She was the daughter of John Fitzgerald Rogers and Melissa Ann Palmer.

Shalonda was a member of Encounter Church. She was a sweet and loveable person that loved the Lord, her children, family, peoples, and life. She loved to help everybody. She was very simple, but a strong woman even in her last days. Shalonda was a fighter. She loved art and crafts, playing the flute, helping peoples in any way she could.  She was a Valedictorian for the Thickety Mountain Association in 2002. She was a 2006 graduate of Converse College with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Chemistry.

Shalonda was an employee of Mocom as a Lab Technician.

She was preceded in death by her grandmothers; Essie Mae Palmer, Martha Rogers, grandfather; Julius (Ike) Palmer, aunt; Cynthia Marie Haney.

In addition to her parents, she leaves to cherish fond memories, her husband; Stephane Ahamel, three daughters; Cadence Rachelle Meyer, Aaryn Skye Meyer, Brooklyn Grace Meyer, one sister; Brandy Raquel Rogers, two brothers; Jonathan Antwan Palmer, RausJohn Dominique Martel Rogers, grandfather; Eddie Coleman, four aunts; Gladys Willette Guyton, Angela Denise Palmer, Cynthia Robbs, Sheila Rogers, two great-uncles; Jimmy Palmer, Roy Leon Palmer and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral Service will be Thursday, August 25,2022, 2:00 pm at Prayer Praise and Deliverance Cathedral, Mooresboro, NC. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
