Philmon Timothy Thompson

Gaffney – On October 13,2021, early afternoon, Heaven opened its gates to welcome a wonderful human being. Mr. Philmon Timothy Thompson was born November 30,1953 in Pittsburg, PA. He was the son of the late Mr. Philmon Thompson and Mrs. Margaret Campbell Thompson. As a young adult, he served in the U.S. Marine Corps. Mr. Philmon Timothy Thompson was a strong man with a strong mind and even stronger heart. He was a protector, an educator and a hard worker. He makes the ultimate transition through the stages of life, many family and members will continue to celebrate the life of a lovely spirit. He was employed at Blythe Construction Inc. for 8 years.

He leaves to cherish fond memories, a son, Mr. Philmon Thompson II, OF Gaffney, SC., a daughter Ms. Emmanuet Thompson of Spartanburg, SC., two brothers, Mr. David Campbell and Mr. Lester Thompson both of Baltimore, Maryland, one sister, Mrs. Phyllis Tucker of Baltimore, Maryland and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
