Peter Lawford "Tomdooley" Brown

Kings Mountain NC - Peter Lawford Brown age 64, 803 W. Gold Street Kings Mountain, was born November 10, 1958, in Kings Mountain, N.C. His precious life ended on July 27, 2023. He was born to the late Lloyd Eugene Brown and Lena Mae Carroll Brown. He attend,ed Kings Mountain High School. He was employed by North Carolina Filtration in Belmont, NC for many years. Peter Lawford Brown, known to all as “Dooley” was loved by many. He was a man who was devoted to his family and friends. He enjoyed watching movies, spending time with family, joking and having a good time. He was preceded in death by his parents Lloyd Eugene and Lena Mae Brown, and one brother Reginald Walls. He leaves to cherish fond memories with two sisters, Patricia Brown of Kings Mountain, NC; Jackie Jamerson of Woolwich, New Jersey; one brother, Sidney Brown (Malon) of Bessemer City, N.C.; two special nieces, Lena Brown and Denequal Brown of Kings Mountain, NC and beloved nephew, Sidney Brown of Charlotte, NC. He also leaves to cherish a sister cousin, Tanya Brown Mitchell of Kings Mountain, NC., two special friends, Robert Bess and Noah Adams; one stepdaughter, Nikki Davis, two stepsons, Tyrone and Gilbert Davis and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends

Funeral: Saturday August 5, 2023 at 1:30pm at People's Baptist Church; the family will receive friends 30 mins prior to the service

Burial: Mountain Rest Cemetery
