Gaffney – Nellie Elizabeth Covington age 85 of 106 Ellis Ferry Ave., Apt 203, Gaffney, SC., transitioned from this life on Tuesday, January 7, 2025 at Spartanburg Medical Center. She was the daughter of the late William Scott Hopper Sr. and Mamie Rene Wood Hopper.

Funeral service will be 2:00 pm Sunday, January 19,2025 at Mt. Sinai Baptist Church with the Rev. C.A. Wallace officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.

A private family viewing on Saturday.
