Shelby - Marquis Miller was born January 20th 1999, in Shelby, North Carolina.
Marquis graduated from Crest High School in 2018. He loved his family and friends dearly. He enjoyed playing basketball and teaching many kids how to play. His smile lit up the room when he entered, a smile like no other. He will be missed and continuously loved by many.
Marquis is preceded in death by his grandmother; Elizabeth Miller, grandfather; Michael Miller, and brother, Latydis Jordon, Jr.
He is survived by his mother; Evelyn Miller, (Nichole Love), father; Latydis Jordon, Sr., one daughter; Cai Graham, four siblings; Sikiya Miller, Jaila Jordan, Kason Watkins, and Karahn Bonner, aunts and uncles; Sonya Gibson (Moby Gibson) Katrina Newton (Steven Newton), Nicole Miller, and Kenneth Miller, one nephew; Tay’Veon England, special friends; Chase, Grayson, Dalton, Dacoda, Tyler, Avery (Roc), and a host of cousins and friends.
