Marion Andrew Irvin Sr

Grover - Marion Irvin Sr., age 84,  of 107 Keeter Street Grover NC went to be with the Lord peacefully in his home, surrounded by family on April 2, 2020. He was born on January 29, 1936. He loved telling stories and cracking jokes. He loved every single one of his family members and friends. He loved spending time with all of his grandchildren. The called him "pawpaw chewing gum" because he always had gum for them and they also called him "ole man." He never met a stranger. He was  passionate about towing cars with his brother, " Ray Jones".

He was preceded in death, in addition to his parents, Homer Irvin and Willie Horn Irvin, by his son Danny Irvin.

He leaves to cherish loving and fond memories, his daughter, Jamie Hamrick( Harold) of Grover, NC; two sons, Marion Irvin, Jr( Lori) of Shelby, NC and Dennis Irvin( Teresa) of Earl, NC and a host of other relatives and friends.
