Louise G. Smith

Gaffney – Louise Graham Smith age 82 of 802 Hetty Hill Street, Gaffney, SC., transitioned from this life on Wednesday, June 30, 2021 at her residence. She was the daughter of the late Roosevelt Graham and Rhuleen Lipscomb Graham Farr and widower of the late Alvin Lee Smith.

She was a graduate of Granard High School and furthered her education at Benedict College where she received a Bachelor’s Degree in Liberal Arts.

She was a member of Bethel Baptist Church where she served as a deaconess and served on the Usher Board. She taught school in Cherokee County School System for several Years, she then worked as a Lab Technician for Hoechst Celanese Corporation retiring after 30 years of service.

She was a caring, loving, easy going person, easy to talk to when you needed a listening ear.

She loved flowers and was known for her beautiful yard, also she loved to cook, bake cakes and decorate her home.

She was the last surviving member of her immediate family.

She leaves to cherish fond memories, two daughters; Veronica Camp of Gaffney, SC., Katrina Smith, Charlotte, NC., one grandson; Branard T. Camp of Charlotte, NC. A host of other relatives and friends.

A private graveside service for the family only will be 11:00 am Wednesday, July 7,2021 at Oakland Cemetery. Viewing will be at the funeral home, Tuesday, July 6,2021
