Kenneth Wilson was born to the late Jackie Wilson and Margaret Phillips Wilson on November 26, 1965. He transitioned from this life on December 15, 2019 at Cleveland County Hospice in Shelby, North Carolina. Kenneth was employed by Copeland in Shelby, North Carolina. His favorite football team was the Dallas Cowboys. Kenneth Wilson was a very creative person. He loved to paint. Painting was his hobby. He could take a paint brush and go to work, only if you didn’t bother him while he was getting started. He had to have everything there that he asked for or you would still be standing and talking. Kenneth painting stood out. When you looked around Uptown Shelby, his painting is displayed in businesses, homes, and other places. Kenneth continued painting until his health begin to decline. Kenneth is preceded in by his father Jackie Wilson, a brother; Jerome Phillips, his grandmother; Virginia Phillips Redman, grandfather; Jay Hugh Phillips, aunts; Lena Bell Phillips, Mary Phillips, uncles; David Phillips, Bobby Wilson, and Herman Wilson. Left to cherish fond memories: his son; Donavon Eskridge, granddaughter; JaKira Eskridge, grandson; Zinireon Ross; his mother; Margaret Phillips Wilson, 3 sisters; Regina W. Odugba (Charles Odugba) of Charlotte, North Carolina, Sheryl W. Phillips (Randy Phillips) of Newton, North Carolina, Tammy Carson (Richard Carson) of Shelby, North Carolina, 2 brothers; Marvin Wilson of Shelby, North Carolina, Jack Wilson, Jr. (Eve Wilson) of Charleston, South Carolina, his aunts; Lenora Phillips of Newton, North Carolina, Geneva Phillips, Ruby Griggs of Hickory, North Carolina, favorite aunt; Peggy Roberts (Kenneth Roberts) of Shelby, North Carolina, uncles; Bobby Phillips, Ralph Phillips (Caren Phillips) of Shelby, North Carolina, J.K.
