John Dale McQuestor

John Dale "Butch" McQuestor, 55, of Liberty, South Carolina, passed away on January 12, 2025, at Peachtree Centre in Gaffney, South Carolina. Butch was an extremely talented artist with a passion for tattooing. His remarkable talent and creativity were matched only by the love he held for his family. He was also known for his unique sense of humor, which brought joy and laughter to his loved ones and left them all with cherished and lasting memories.

 Butch was preceded in death by his parents Grace McQuestor and John McQuestor; his brother and best friend Andrew McQuestor; his grandparents Obi Black and Ina Black; as well as multiple uncles, and cousins.

He is survived by his aunt Ann Hall; his nieces Andrea McQuestor and Kendall McQuestor; his sister-in-law Carol Davis; and numerous cousins and extended family.

As he is reunited with his beloved mother and brother, may the memory of Butch’s love, creativity and humor bring comfort to all who knew him.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
