Kings Mountain - Janice Louise Smith Bess, age 75, of 2009 Redwood Circle Kings Mountain, NC, daughter of the late Joe Dean and Helen Louise Bell Smith, peacefully transitioned from this life on Tuesday, October 21, 2025 at Atrium Health Cleveland Pines.

The family will be receiving friends at the home Friday, October 24, 2025 thru Sunday, October 26, 2025 from 2pm to 6pm

Funeral: Tuesday, October 28, 2025 at 2:30pm at St. Peters Missionary Baptist Church; the family will receive friends 30 mins prior to the service
