Gaffney – James Michael Mayne Sr. age 76 transitioned from this life on Tuesday, December 31, 2024 at Cherokee Medical Center. He was the son of the late James Herbert Mayne and Ruby Beatrice Kirby Mayne.
Born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, he was a Pittsburgh Steelers fan. He loved dancing, listening to Elvis Presley. He loved all kind of music.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his longtime companion; Lisa Moody Webb.
He is survived by a daughter; Michelle Mayne Trammell (Jason) of Spartanburg, SC., two sons; Michael Mayne (Jessica) of Spartanburg, SC., Kirby Mayne of Seattle, one sister; Lisa Mayne Reynolds (Donny) of Georgia., a lifelong best friend; Rick Lewis of Roebuck.
Five grands, eight great-grands, one nephew, one niece, four great-nephews and one great-niece, other relatives and friends.
A private memorial service will be held at a later time.
