J. B. Allen, Sr.

Gaffney - J. B. Allen was born February 15, 1951 to Mrs. Hazel W. Allen and the late Mr. J. T. Allen in Cherokee County. 

He was a 1969 graduate of Gaffney High School. He formerly worked for Cherokee Landscape Company.  He was a member of Green Bethel Baptist Church.  J. B. loved fishing and hunting.

In addition to his Mother, Mrs. Hazel W. Allen, he leaves three daughters; Miss Cornelia Allen, Ms. Victoria A. Garrett, Miss Quejuna Woods, one son; Mr. J. B. Allen, Jr., three step-sons;  Edward Buckson, Jason Buckson, Brian Buckson, three sisters; Bernice A. Littlejohn, Kathy A. Ridgeway, Lillie A. (Thurman) Tate, Reola A. Hoyle, one brother; Reverend Larry (Celestine)Allen, 12 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, four aunts; Martha Love, Cleo Huskey, Daisy Logan,  three uncles; Frank (Evan. Mary) Webster, Bobby (Janice) Webster, Mark Webster and a host of other relatives and friends.

The family is receiving friends at the home of his mother, Ms. Hazel Allen, 482 Goucher Green Bethel Rd, Pacolet, SC.
