Faith Webber Obituary

Shelby- Miss Faith Charlette Webber transitioned from earth to glory on Wednesday, August 15, 2018 at Cleveland Regional Medical Center.  A native of Monroe, North Carolina, Faith was born on Valentine Day, February 14, 1994 to Pastor Charles L. and Audrey R. Webber.

Faith was employed as an Investigator with the Cleveland County Department of Social Services and previously was employed with the Cleveland County School System. She was a proud 2012 graduate of Shelby High School where she was a four-year varsity cheerleader in football and basketball.  She loved cheering and had been a cheerleader since she was a little girl. She also participated in the school choir and was President of her senior class.  Faith was a 2016 graduate of Winston-Salem State University where she majored in Social Work and sang with the Winston-Salem State University Singing Rams choir.  As a member of the Choir she was able to go on tour to places like South Africa and the Bahamas and in the U. S. at such notable venues as Carnegie Hall and the Lincoln Center.  Faith’s passion was children and singing.  She woke up singing, she went through the house singing, and she would park her car in the drive way and sing!  In the community she was a member of the Kenya Houze and Greater Community Choir, an assistant cheerleading coach for Crest Middle School, Vice-President of the Clark Family Reunion and was recently recognized as the outstanding young adult leader by the Cleveland County NAACP.   Faith believed in giving God all of her very best and would correct anyone who did not.  Because of this desire for greatness, her late grandfather Robert Ross nicknamed her “School Teacher.”

Faith was preceded in death by her maternal grandparent Robert Ross and paternal grandparents Anderson Jr. and Ruby C. Webber

Faith is survived by her parents Pastor Charles and Audrey Webber; brothers Adam Webber of the home and Derrick L. Chambers of Gainesville, Florida; a sister Lakeisha Linder and two nephews Zayden and Isaiah Williams all of Shelby, NC.; a grandmother Melvina Ross of Waco, NC.; God Parents Dr. and Mrs. Jim Atkinson of  Sanford, NC; Mr. and Mrs. Joseph (Veronica) Green of Charlotte, NC, Mr. and Mrs. Danny (Bendatra) McDowell of Kings Mountain, NC, Mrs. Mary and Marilyn Webster of Forest City, NC.  Aunts and Uncles, Dennis and Linda Webber of Memphis, Tennessee, Thomas Ross, Ronald and Brenda Ross, Charles and Mary Ross all of Shelby, NC., Pastor Vincent and Lakita Ross of Hickory, NC and Adrian and Linda Ross of Charlotte, NC;  Johnny and Tammy Wolfe of Concord, NC and Ronnie and Jacqueline Foxx of Shelby, NC.  Faith believed in family unity and loved her great aunts, uncles, and relatives on all sides of the family and as such she leaves behind an innumerable number of special cousins and friends so much that we will not list them all for fear of leaving someone out which Faith would be very upset about!

Funeral Service will be held on Monday August 20, 2018 at 11:00am visitation 10:00am at Malcolm Brown Auditorium.
