Eddie Dean Stroud

Shelby - Eddie  Dean Stroud,  age 53,  peacefully transitioned this life on Friday, December 14, 2018 at Peak Resources, Shelby, North Carolina.  Eddie was born December 21, 1964 to Iverson Junior Stroud and Emma Lizzie Odoms Stroud Hunt. 

Eddie enjoyed the oldies, reminiscing about the old days, and watching car shows.  He was a Dallas Cowboy fan. His grandchildren were his heart.

Eddie was preceded in death by a sister, Claudette Hopper, his grandparents; Eli and Lathy Odoms, and Iverson Stroud, Sr. and Lena Stroud. 

Left to cherish his memories:  his wife; Barbara Williams Stroud, daughters;  Brandy Stroud, Carla Williams, sisters; Barbara Mintz, Mary Robinson, Angela Marble, brothers; John Stroud, James Stroud, aunts; Hazel Thomas, Lena Pound, Mary Odoms, Lelia Clark, Sally Hill, grandchildren;  Caliyah Williams, Isaiah Thompson, Camillia Thompson, god-children; Amy Eaves (Demarrion, Trinity, Tristen), special people; Kimora Garvin, Benjamin Sanders, Steve Bristol, Gary Rice, James Downs, Ricky Davis, and a host of other relatives and friends.

The family will meet at the home of his sister Mary Robinson at 2927 Lake Dr. Shelby

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday December 22, 2018 at 11:30am at The Family Worship Center in Kings Mountain N.C. The Family will receive friends 30 minutes prior to service.
