Dorothy Gene Roseboro

Dorothy G. Roseboro  was born August 19, 1944. She peacefully transitioned from this life on Tuesday, May 5, 2020 at Atrium Health Charlotte. She was the daughter of the late Osko Roseboro and Euzelia Chambers Roseboro. Dorothy “Dot” loved on everyone who crossed her path. She loved her family fiercely and encouraged them to be all they could be and to always choose to be the best version of themselves. Her favorite thing to do was travel the world with her family and provide loving care for her babies at daycare! Her big loving spirit will live on within us all. Dorothy is preceded in death by her parents: Osko Roseboro and Euzelia C. Roseboro, sisters; Louise Huskey, Kay Roseboro Meeks, her niece; Thressa Foster, and a nephew; Dwayne Huskey Left to cherished her fond memories: her daughters; Jacqueline Roseboro of Charlotte, North Carolina, Louisea Roseboro (Weldon) of Shelby, North Carolina, her sons; Frankie Roseboro (Leisa) of Shelby, North Carolina, Christopher Roseboro of Gastonia, North Carolina, one surviving sister; Ruby Roseboro Foster of Shelby, North Carolina, two surviving brothers; James Roseboro (Johanna) of Wichita, Kansas, Sammy Roseboro of Blacksburg, South Carolina, nieces and nephews she raised like her own children; Tony Foster, Ernie Roseboro, Angela Foster, her lifelong friends; Nancy Bridges, Rosie Byrd, Janie Wilson, Brenda Lipscomb, Johnnie Littlejohn, and Frances Woods, four grandchildren, four great-greatgrandchildren, and a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Funeral: Monday, May 11, 2020 at 2pm at Earl First Baptist Church. The family will receive friends 30 mins prior to the service.

Burial: Church Cemetery
