Lawndale: Dexter Quesnel 'DaKang' Wells, age 51, formerly of Lawndale, NC; peacefully transitioned from this life on Wednesday, July 9, 2025  Sovah Health in Danville, Va.

The family will be receiving friends  at 109 Covenant Court Shelby, NC on the folowwing days at specific times; Mon. July 14: NO Visitors, Tues July 15-Wed. July 16: 4pm-8pm; Thurs. July 10: TBD

Funeral: Friday, July 18, 2025 at 2:30pm at Changers Church; the family will receive friends 30 mins prior to the service.

Burial: Ellis Chapel Church Cemetery
