Inez was a shining beacon of faith and love for her family. She was a devoted wife, sister, grandmother, and faithful servant of the Lord at Concord Baptist Church.
For 58 years, Inez was the loving and loyal wife of Lyman Dawkins Sr., who preceded her in passing. In Lyman Sr., she found a partner to share in life's joys and challenges. Inez worked at Oxford Industries with pride and dedication for over two decades. Yet, her heart's true vocation lay with Jesus Christ and the spiritual realms of her beloved Concord Baptist Church. Her passion and service for Christ was as deep and vast as an ocean. From leading the usher board as a former president to offering support as a missionary and pastor aid, she served in numerous ministries, leaving an indelible imprint of grace and resilience. Inez Dawkins was a guiding light in every life she touched. Her faith was her compass, guiding her through life's turbulent waters. Her devotion to the church was only surpassed by her deep love for Jesus Christ. She understood that faith was a journey, not a destination, and she walked her path with grace, dignity, and unwavering love.
At an early age, Inez accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior. Inez Dawkins was the epitome of faithfulness, whether serving as a deaconess or caring for her loved ones. She leaves behind a rich legacy of love in the hearts of her family.
