Mooresboro – Deacon James Edward Manning age 76 of 2455Prospect Church Rd. Mooresboro, NC., transitioned from this life on Thursday, April 20,2023 at his residence. He was the son of the late Edward Holmes and Ruth M. Aiken. He was the husband of Rev. Mardestine Manning. He was a member of Mikes Creek Missionary Baptist Church where he served as a deacon, Sunday School teacher, usher, President of By-Laws Committee and President of the Mixed Choir.
Funeral service will be Wednesday, April 26, 2023 at 2:00PM at the Mikes Creek Missionary Baptist Church. Interment will be in the church cemetery.
The family is receiving friends at the residence.
