Shelby – Brenda Kaye “KK” Rodgers - McCoy age 55 of 901 Buffalo Street, Shelby, NC., transitioned from this life on Saturday, May 21 ,2022 at her residence. She was the daughter of the late Clinton Rodgers Sr. and Vinnie “Nita” Montgomery Rodgers. She was born on July 20,1966 in Gaffney, SC. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ricky McCoy, her grandparents; Chadwick and Elizabeth Rodgers; D.B. and Sarah Montgomery.

She is survived by her two daughters, Brittany Rodgers of Greenville, SC., Jo’Leesha Rodgers of Gaffney, SC., one brother; Clinton “BB” Rodgers Jr.( Jeanette) of Spartanburg, SC. Four grandchildren, Sa’Rah, Larry III, La’Ray, Alzaiah. One niece; Sade Savage; special family members, Furman Smith, John Hopper, Rockey Dawkins. A host of nephews, nieces, cousins, aunts, uncles and friends.

A private viewing for family only will be held Friday, May 27,2022 from 2:00 pm – 3:00 pm at Genesis Funeral Cremation Service & Chapel Inc. of Gaffney, SC.

The family is receiving friends at 122 Freeport Drive, Gaffney, SC.
