Shelby - Betty Joyce "Bet" Johnson Byrd age 82 the daughter of the late John Max Elmore and Milred Kee Coulhoun, formally of Lawndale peacefully transitioned from this life on Sunday, March 1, 2026 at residence surrounded by loving family.

 In Lieu of Flowers the family request donations be made to Genesis Funeral Services.

The Family will start receiving friends on Wednesday, March 4, 2026, from 4pm to 8pm at the home of her daughter and son-in-law Ulysses and Bridget Tuft 1649 Friendship Rd. Shelby, NC

Funeral: Friday, March 13, 2026 at 2pm at Lawndale First Baptist; the family will receive friends one hour prior to the service

Burial: Church Cemetery
