Annette Haynes, age 72, of 406 Hobbs Avenue, Shelby peacefully transitioned from this life on Wednesday, January 22, 2020 at Atrium Health-Cleveland in Shelby, North Carolina. She was the daughter of the late Daniel Smith and Sally M. Haynes. Annette loved reading and chasing after her grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; Daniel Smith, Sally M. Haynes, and her sister Marie Lathers. She leaves to cherish fond memories: her children; Polly Spikes (Randy) of Shelby, North Carolina, Beverly Haynes (Chris) of the home, a sister; Linda Kimble of Shelby, North Carolina, brothers; Raymond Haynes (Judy), Harold Haynes of Shelby, North Carolina, Sylvester Haynes (Stacey) of Shelby, North Carolina, grandchildren; Joreka, Chaz (Tia), Shen, Demar, Jonaca, Randy, Jaylan, 16 great-grand grandchildren, 1 great-great-grandchild and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
