Albert Parks

Albert Leon Parks , age 58, was born December 5, 1962 to the late Albert Parks and  Doshia Parks.Albert peacefully transitioned from this earthly life on Tuesday, February 15, 2021 at CaroMont  Regional Health in Gastonia, North Carolina. 

Albert received his formal education from Cleveland County School System and Burns High School in Lawndale, North Carolina.  He  furthered his education at Cleveland Community College, Shelby, North Carolina. 

Albert was united in marriage with Brandy Watkins, February 22, 2012 in Shelby, North Carolina.

Albert was employed at Freightliner as a Material Handler for 20 years.  His hobbies covered a variety of sports.  He took pride in making sure his family was happy and being his mini me agent for football.

Albert was preceded in death by his father, Albert Parks, two sisters; Ellawease Hillman, Edna Hillman, brothers, Albert Lewis Parks and Bobby Parks.

Left to cherish fond memories: his wife, Brandy Parks, children:  Jeramie Thurman (Kerri), Chris Parks (Cara), Darius Watkins, Brenajah Parks, Bianna Parks, Myles Parks, mother:  Doshia Parks, siblings;  Sarah Dawkins (Larry), Lisa Martin (Tommy), Keith Parks (Ivy) 10 grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Funeral service will be held on Tuesday February 23, 2021 at Genesis Funeral Services & Chapel in the Otis Mobley Memorial  Chapel at 12:30 P.M. visitation 30 minutes prior to service. Burial at Sunset Cemetery. 

The family will not gather at the home prior to services.
