Mr. Tony Curtis Perkins answered the called to be with the Lord on Easter Sunday, April 21, 2019 at CarMont Regional Hospital in Gastonia, North Carolina. Tony was born August 1, 1957 in Washington, DC to the late Thomas C. Perkins, Sr. and Mildred Whiteside Perkins.
Curtis, a Marine Veteran, was educated in the Kings Mountain School System where he graduated from Kings Mountain High School in 1975. He attended Belle and Howell and Devry Colleges in Atlanta, GA. He worked at companies such as Buckeye Industries, STI, and A and B Paving. Curtis grew up attending Galilee United Methodist Church. In his leisure, Curtis liked listening to Old School music, watching Western Movies, and looking at Soap Operas on TV.
In addition to his father Thomas C. Perkins, Sr. (TC) he was preceded in death by his son, Tony, Paternal Grandparents, John and Virgie Perkins, his Maternal Grandparents, Walter and Caroline Whiteside.
Curtis leaves to cherish fond memories; a loving daughter, Vivian Allen (Jimmy) of Gastonia, North Carolina; a son, Antonio Goodlett of Bessemer City, North Carolina, wife; Gwendolyn Perkins of Bessemer City, North Carolina, four grand daughters: Aalliyah Perkins, Mariah Williams, Kierra Williams, Amerial Williams; one grandson, Q’mon Allen; his loving mother, Mildred W. Perkins; two sisters: Gina Adams (Michael), Beverly Perkins both of Kings Mountain, North Carolina; three brothers: Thomas C. Perkins, Jr., (Leona) of Gastonia, North Carolina, Reggie Perkins, Anthony Perkins (Lakeysha) both of Kings Mountain, North Carolina; a host of nieces and nephews, other relatives/ friends including a special friend, Renee.
