Shelby -

A beautiful life we loved came to close on July 1, 2018 at  Carolina Medical Center Cleveland, Shelby, North Carolina.  Ollie was born on October 9, 1955,  to James Ralph Peeler and Letha Lizzie McKissick.

 

Ollie attend Walls Memorial Baptist Church and New Start Baptist Church.  She worked at Anvil Knitwear for 32 years and was currently employed by STI (Specialty Textiles, Inc.).  Ollie was a hard worker.  She loved to cook and clean the house.  She was the community caretaker.  Ollie did not like to take pictures.

 

Ollie was preceded in death by her husband; Craig (Steve) Ross, her daughter; Audrey Mae Hopper, her brothers;  Claude Littlejohn, Thomas McKissick, John L. McKissick, and Albert McKissick.

She leaves to cherish her memories;  her daughters; Shana Hopper (Tyrone),  Robin Proctor (Rodney), son; David Hopper, sisters; Elizabeth Graham, Angelia Sweezy (like a sister), her brothers; David Lee McKissick, Ralph McKissick, James Peeler, Leroy Peeler, grandchildren; Freezejahna Proctor, Devajay Hopper, Quantez Hopper, Zantavious Hopper, Ja’Narious Hopper, Kadedra Wray, Kam’Ron Hopper, Marquise Mitchell, Ja’Najaha Hopper, grandchildren reared in the home; David Hopper, Jr. Travis Surratt, and a host of great-children, relatives and friends.

Funeral Service will be held Friday, July 6, 2018 at Walls Memorial Baptist Church at 3 P.M. Family will receive friends 30 minutes prior to the service. Burial will follow at Sunset Cemetery.
