Lymon Douglas Wilson

Mr. Lymon Douglas Wilson, age 71, of 148 Hawks Nest Court, Kings Mountain, was born Dec. 28, 1945, to the late Simon Frank and Rachel White Wilson. He departed this life on July 18, 2017, at Carolinas Healthcare System- Kings Mountain. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by three children, Melvin Wilson, Sharman Wilson and Virginia Tynese Wilson. He was a devoted member of Fairview A.M. E. Zion Church in Earl.
 He leaves to cherish his fond memories, a devoted and loving wife for 49 years, Virginia Louise Wilson of the home; three sons, Bryant Wilson (Priscilla) of Lawndale, Jeffery T. Wilson (Erin) of Kings Mountain, and Charles T. Wilson (Renee) of Shelby; one daughter, Tiara Lashay Hollis (Asmar) of Shelby, and a host of other relatives and friends.
 
Funeral will be held at 12 p.m., Saturday, July 22, 2017, at Fairview A.M.E. Zion Church, Earl. The family will receive friends 30 minutes prior to the service.
 Burial will be in the church cemetery.
