James Studyvance

James Studyvance age 71 of 102 Oakview Drive, Gaffney, SC., peacefully transitioned Saturday, January 12, 2019 at The Spartanburg Medical Center: Mary Black Campus. He was the son of the late Furman Studyvance and Carrie Mae Butler Studyvance. He was born on November 12, 1947 in Cherokee County of South Carolina. He leaves to cherish fond memories, four grandchildren, Eddie Studyvance Jr., Derrick Studyvance, Calvin Studyvance and Sharda Studyvance.

Five sisters, Mrs. Annie Mae Tate, Mrs. France Byars, Mrs. Carrie L. Valentine, Mrs.Parnice Hughes all of Gaffney, SC., Mrs. Barbara K. Littlejohn of Toledo Ohio. Seven brothers, Mr. Furman Studyvance Jr., Mr. John R. Studyvance, Mr. Billy R. Studyvance, Mr. Donnie L. Studyvance, Mr. Ronnie L. Studyvance all of Gaffney, SC., Mr. Paul D. Studyvance of High Point NC. Two aunts, Mrs. Helen Butler Camp and Mrs. Helen Butler both of Gaffney, SC. Three sister-in-laws, Mrs. Debra Studyvance, Mrs. Rosa Studyvance both of Gaffney, SC., Mrs. Betty Studyvance of High Point, NC. Three brother-in-laws, Mr. John Lightening, Mr. Joe Smith and Mr. Johnnie Byars all of Gaffney, SC. A special friend, Mrs. Carylon Falls of Gaffney, SC. A host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
