Shelby - Garland "Kitty" Petty age 58 of 330 West College Ave Apartment F4 Boiling Springs NC; peacefully transitioned from this life on Monday November 4, 2019 at his residence.
He was born January 22, 1960 to the late Glenn Shellen Petty, Sr. and the late Julia Katheline Hopper Petty.
Garland is preceded in death by his son, Derrall Foster Petty “Pedro,” his father; Glenn Shellen Petty, Sr., mother; Julia Katheline Hopper Petty, his brothers; Glenn Shellen Petty, Jr. and Billy Joe Petty.
He leaves to cherish his memories: his daughters; Lachrisa Quirston Petty, Latrece Onaith Petty, brother; Charles Petty, sisters; Nishie Ann Petty, Julia Onaith Petty, Trudy Kathleen Petty, mother of his children, ex-wife, and best friend; Kathleen Sanders, special nieces; Desarhea Kathleen Jones, and Lateshia Shay Briscoe, cousin and great friend; Lee Hopper, and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews that he loved dearly other relatives and friends.
Funeral service will be held on Friday November 8, 2019 at Unity Independence Baptist Church at 11:30 am. Visitation 11 - 11:30 am.
