Fredrick Douglas Williams

Burial will take place Saturday, January 5, 2019 at 12pm at Mountain Rest Cemetery in Kings Mountain, NC

Kings Mountain -  Mr. Fredrick “Freddie” Douglas Williams was born to the late Eugene  Williams and the late Sallie Mae Williams November 29, 1953 in Kings Mountain, North Carolina.  He was called home to glory after an extended illness on Saturday, December 22, 2018 at the age of 65. Freddie attended Kings Mountain City Schools and Cleveland Community College, Shelby, North Carolina.  He employed with Anvil Knit in Kings Mountain from 1970-1974.  He also worked thirty three years at Spectrum Fiber in Kings Mountain and his current employer was Milliken in Gaffney, South Carolina.

In addition to his parents, Freddie was preceded in death by his brother; Richard Williams and his sister; Java Sherer. 

Left to cherish his fond memories; his wife; Rebecca Annette Williams  and son Antavion Marquiz Williams of the home, sons; Cedric Eugene Damerson of Cherryville, North Carolina, Patrick Nance of Charlotte, North Carolina, four sisters; Mae Katherine Smith of Kings Mountain, North Carolina, Gloria Burris (Carl) of Gastonia, North Carolina, Betsy Rawlinson (Perry), Tina Smith (Thurston) of Charlotte, North Carolina, one brother; Michael Anthony Williams (Shirley) of Kings Mountain, North Carolina, seven grandchildren; La Taurus Dameron, Destiny Jordan, Jaquron Friday, Tahniya Dameron, Cedric Dameron, Jr., Deasha Dameron, Marquest Dameron, mother-in-law; Odessa Montenegro (Cisco), sister-in-laws; Cynthia Wilson, Tyra Rudisill, and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Funeral service will be held on Saturday December 29, 2018 at The Family Worship Center in  kings Mountain N.C. at 11:30 A.M. Family will receive friends 30 minutes prior to service. Burial will be in Mountain Rest Cemetery.
