Elizabeth (Goddard) Borders

Kings Mountain - Elizabeth Goddard Borders, age 69, of 114-8 Goddard Road, Shelby, North Carolina departed this life peacefully on Wednesday, May 8, 2019 at Brian Center of Gastonia, North Carolina.  
Elizabeth affectionately known as “Lib: was born January 25, 1950 to the late King and Cora Goddard.
She was preceded in death by her husband; Stephen L. Borders, one son; Wesley Maurice Borders, her parents; King and Cora Goddard, two brothers;  Charles (Bill) Goddard, Willie Ed Goddard, and a sister, Annie Clara Goddard. 
She leaves to cherish fond memories, two sisters, Rosa Ash of Shelby, North  Carolina, Cora Mae Borders of Lawndale, North Carolina, one brother; Reverend Thomas C. Goddard of Shelby, North Carolina, one granddaughter; Carmen Borders of Cherryville, North Carolina and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.

The family is meeting at 804 Sterling Dr. Kings Mtn.,NC.

Funeral Service will be held Wednesday May 15, 2019 at 2P.M. Visitation 1:30 - 2 P.M. at Mt. Calvary Baptist Church . Burial Sunset Cemetery.
