Kings Mountain - Dorothy Mae Bess, age 74, of 3010 34th Street Drive NE Hickory, NC 28601 peacefully transitioned on April 3, 2018 at Catawba Valley Medical Center. Funeral service will be

held Monday April 9,2018, at Friendship Baptist Church 340 1st, Street, S.W, in Hickory NC, at 3 P.M. The Family will receive friends 1 hour prior to the service. The family will receive friends on Saturday From 4 - 7 P. M. at Genesis Services & Chapel in Kings Mountain. Burial will be in Vestibule A.M.E Zion Cemetery.
