Violet (Sanders) Michael

Shelby  -  Violet Sanders Michael age 76, departed this life Friday, December 2, 2022 at her residence.  She was born February 10, 1946 in Cleveland County, NC to the late Jonah and Lones Sanders.    

Violet accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior at her home church, First Baptist Church, Earl NC where she served as the head of the Culinary Committee.  She was also a faithful member of Senior Ambassadors until her health declined.

In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by two brothers Terry D. Sanders and Amon J. Sanders

Left to cherish her precious memories are: her husband, James Michael; her children, sons, Levi Michael of Asheville, NC, James Michael of Charlotte, NC and daughter Pamela Mitchell of Shelby; her brother, Wilbert Sanders and three sisters, Mary S. Maddox (Joe), Retener S. Watts and Regina S Woods (Johnnie Jr.); two aunts, Jennie S. Rivers and Ellen W. Adams.  She has 7 grandchildren, 13 great- grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.

The family will be receiving friends at 209 Clayteena Rd. Shelby, NC

Funeral: Wednesday, December 7, 2022 at 3:30pm at First Baptist of Earl; the family will receive friends 30 mins prior to the service.

Burial: Church Cemetery
