Lawndale - June Thomas, age 83, was born July 12th, 1939 to the late Minnie Mintz and Jay Thomas in Cherokee County, South Carolina. June departed this life December 4, 2022 at his home. He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Deborah Craig, and grandson, Talea Craig. He leaves to cherish is memories: his wife of 57 years, Hazel Thomas; two daughters, Judy Brown, Pamela Thomas of Lawndale, North Carolina; a son, Derek Thomas (Jewella) of Harrisburg, North Carolina; 11 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, 1 great-greatgrandchild; a very special cousin, Jean A. Mintz and many cousins, other relatives and friends.
Funeral: Saturday, December 10, 2022 at 1 pm at Palmer Grove Baptist Church ; the family will receive friends 30 mins prior to the service.
Burial: Church Cemetery
