So very sorry for your loss. My thoughts and prayers are with you. Please know that through God's word the bible He provides us with comfort and hope in times such as these. He lets us know that even Jesus himself wept when his friend Lazarus feel asleep in death and he knew he could resurrect him. Revelation 21:4 says that God will wipe every tear from our eyes and death and pain will be no more. This is especially comforting since we know this scripture has to be referring to the earth because these things don't exist in heaven.
