Sidney N. Lattimore

Mr. Sidney Lattimore affectionately known “Bill” passed away peacefully on Wednesday, December 27, 2017, at Mary Black Health System in Gaffney. He was born July 16, 1922, making him a blessed 95. He was the youngest of two sons to Euzelia Mack Lattimore and Sid Lattimore of Gaffney, South Carolina. He was married to Addie Littlejohn Lattimore for fifty + years. He is survived by five sons; C.J Lattimore, William Lattimore of Gaffney, South Carolina; and Edward Lattimore of Shelby North Carolina; Jarvis Hopper of Gaffney and Jimmy Hardy of Shelby North Carolina. Seven daughters; Bernestine Dawkins, Viola Phillips, Rachel Livsey, Barbara Lattimore all of Gaffney, South Carolina, Josephine Petty of   Shelby North Carolina, Julia Johnson of Spartanburg South Carolina. And Cassandra Lattimore of Gaffney, SC. In his passing he has left, 49 grandchildren, 38 great-grand children, and 60+ great grandchildren and a host of cousins, family, friends, and others who he has inspired throughout his life.

Funeral service will be held 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, January 3, 2017 at The Mt. Sinai Missionary Baptist Church with The Rev. C.A. Wallace officiating. There will be a thirty- minute visitation, 2:00 P.M. – 2:30 p.m.

Burial will be in the church cemetery.

The family is receiving friends at 301 ½ Sarratt Ave. Gaffney, SC.
