Rev. Robert Edward Jackson

SHELBY – Rev. Robert Edward Jackson, 63, of 211 Maple St., Shelby, departed this life on July 3, 2015, at his residence.  He was born in Brooklyn, New York on March 5, 1952, to the late Herman Vails and Helen Jackson.
He is survived by his wife Joel Jackson of the home; four children Gautrell Jackson (Teri) of Winterville, NC; Nicole Ross (Chad); Greg Harris; and Sherman Dorsey of Shelby, NC.

The family will receive friends thirty minutes prior to the funeral services
Funeral Services will be held at 2:30 p.m., Thursday , July 9,2015 at Mt. Calvary Baptist Church with Pastor Robert Devoe, Sr. and Pastor M. Lamont Littlejohn, Jr. officiating.
The burial will follow at Sunset Cemetery.
The family will be meeting at 211 Maple St.
