Raleigh William Hayes, Jr.

Raleigh William Hayes, Jr. , was born to the late Raleigh William Hayes, Sr. and Brenda Brooks Evans on December 15, 1961 in Elizabeth, NJ. He attended Peshine Ave School in Newark, NJ. As a teenager, he moved to North Carolina and          graduated from Burns High School. Raleigh then entered the Marine Corps where he was very active and served his country with honors for 4 years. Raleigh has been employed at PPG, KOSA, Huesker and his current place of employment, Clear Water Paper. He was an active member of White Oak Springs Church.                                               
Raleigh started an union with Mary Adams Manning and from that union, he had four  daughters, Dacia Adams, Joy Adams, Omega Hayes and Olivia Hayes. In 2002, he married his lovely wife of 14 years, Patreca Clyde Hayes, whom he greatly adored and gained 3 sons, Quavis Clyde, Johntae Littlejohn and Brandon Littlejohn. He also leaves to cherish his fond memories; two sisters, Tempie H. Calloway of Shelby, NC and Annalisha G. Thomas of Lawton, OK; two special nieces, Breneva Johnson and  Breanna Eskridge; a special nephew, Delmar Calloway; a brother-n-law, Thomas Clyde; two sisters-in-law, Gina Clyde and Sandy Clyde, 13 grandchildren, a very special friend, Kenneth Wayne Huskey, a friend of the family, Edward Eskridge and a host of other relatives and friends

The family will receive friends 30 minutes prior to the funeral services

Funeral Services will be held at 1:00pm, Wednesday, November 18, 2015 at Genesis Funeral Services & Chapel

Burial will take place at White Oak Springs Church, Lattimore, NC
