Lawndale -Mrs. Ostine Clark Haynes age 79 of 148 Potato House Rd. Lawndale, NC; departed this life on January 1, 2016 at CaroMot Health Care Gastonia, NC;

The family will be receiving friends 30 minutes prior to the funeral services

Funeral Services will be held at 2:00pm, Saturday, January 9, 2016 at Pine Grove Primitive Bapt. Church, Lawndale, NC

Burial will take place at the church cemetery

Ostine Clark Haynes
Mrs. Ostine Clark Haynes, departed this life to be with her Heavenly Father on Friday, January 1, 1016 at Caromont Hospital in Gastonia, NC. She was born July, 18, 1936 to the late Sam and Hannah Clark. She retired from Century Furniture after 25 years of service. She was a faithful member of Pine Grove Primitive Baptist Church until her health failed. Ostine enjoyed cooking, singing and dressing up.                                                                                           
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by four brothers, Lewis Calvin “LC” , Willie Melton” Mann”, Sammie Jr. and Johnny Lee “Pookie” Clark; one sister, Willie Mae Odoms and a granddaughter, Alexis J. Haynes.                 
She leaves to cherish fond memories of her; her husband of 59 years, Almbrouse C. Haynes “AC”; one son, Scottie Haynes (Jessica); six daughters, Linda Ussery (Sonny), Doris Haynes (Kenneth), Priscilla Brewton (Raymond), Gail Withrow (Michael), all of Lawndale, NC Troy Haynes (James) of Hickory, NC and Angie Thompson (Timmy) of Kingstown, NC; one sister, Annie Mae Ussery, nine grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren, one brother-in-law, seven sister-in-laws, one grandson-in-law, one granddaughter-in-law, a special cousin, Pat Clark, a special friend, Gladys Webber and a host of nieces and nephews.
