Monroe Douglas

Gaffney - Monroe Douglas affectionately known as “Crip” age 64 of 521 West Montgomery Street Apt 26 Gaffney, SC peacefully transition Thursday, June 29,2017 at the Spartanburg Medical Center. He was the son of the late Monroe Gordon and the late Lillie Linder. He is survived by four sisters, Louise Douglas, Lucills Linder, Betty Petty, Clara Douglas all of Gaffney, SC., One brother, Wayne (Terri) Gordon of Cherryville, NC and a host of nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services will be Thursday, July 6, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. at the Mikes Creek Missionary Baptist Church. There will be a thirty-minute visitation 12:30 p.m. to 1:00 p.m.

The body will lie in state at 11:30 a.m. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

The family is receiving friends at the home of his sister Louise Douglas 116 Iris Lane Gaffney, SC
