Lillian (Wray) Corprew

Lillian Wray Corprew age 73, of Shelby, was born in Cleveland County; the daughter of the late James and Essie Lou Moon Wray;

She departed this life on December 20, 2015 at CaroMont Health, Gastonia, NC;

She was preceded in death in addition to her parents by her husband, Gerald Corprew Sr.;

She leaves to cherish her loving memory her three daughters, Adrienne Day (Charles) of Schenectady, NY, Lori Corprew of Rochester, NY and Aubrae Collins (Vernell) of Charlotte, NC, seven grandchildren; five sisters, two brothers and a host of other relatives.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, December 29, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at Palmer Grove Baptist Church, Kingstown, NC, with Rev. James Smith officiating. Burial will take place at the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at the church on Tuesday.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in her honor to the American Heart Association.
