Joniqua Lavetta Smith-Ingram

SPARTANBURG - Joniqua Lavetta Smith-Ingram, 35, affectionately known to many as “Meka” of 1442-B Dover Rd. Spartanburg, SC passed away on March 31, 2017 at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center, Spartanburg, SC. She was born on December 25, 1981, the daughter of Eddie Smith Sr. and Wanda Smith. Joniqua was a 2000 graduate of Dorman High School. Joniqua was employed with the Spartanburg School District 6. She enjoyed cooking and singing but her main love was taking care of her babies.

          In addition to her parents, Joniqua leaves to cherish loving and fond memories, her husband, Ernest Ingram; her children, IIaysia Ingram, Ethan Ingram, twins- Elise and Ezra Ingram; her sisters, Zakarria Smith, Eddikkia Smith, Jalai Smith and Miracle Smith; her brothers, Johnathan Smith, Eddie Smith, Jr. and DaMycha Smith and a host of other relatives and many many friends.

Funeral: Thursday, April 6, 2017 at 2pm at Shady Grove Baptist Church, Gaffney, SC. The family will receive friends 30 mins prior to the service. Pastor Lee Byers, officiating
