A Poem for you
YOU ALWAYS CAME

On our way up Zion's Hill you found a lot of interesting things. You would stop, spend time and investigate but, "when called" you always came.

You came because of what you were taught about the love God had for you. How He died on the cross one day because He wants to spend eternity with you.

You came because of the love you had for your family and your friends. For Jesus taught if you believe in Him, you would see them once again.

So you ran ahead and passed us all saying good-bye on your way. We no longer have to call you, for we know you are HOME to stay.

We Love and Miss you Brother,
Your Siblings

I remember growing up with Chris and riding the bus with him all through elementary school and junior high. He and his parents were good people. I hate to hear of his passing. I pray that the family finds peace during this difficult time.

To the Family: Chris was a heart warning good person and knew Jesus Christ for himself. Chris was smart and could work on any car and lawnmower, he loved his children and his family deeply. Chris shared somethings with me doing his stay at Rutherford Hospital/Rehab. He could make a dog laugh. I miss him already, but I know Chris is in a better place and he would want us to rejoice. I was extremely saddened by the news of Chris when I heard about it. Me and Chris as little children at Ramseur Church got into a lot and then years later became very good friends until his death. I last heard Chris voice on Feb. 4th and then his phone ring me twice on Saturday, March 11th at 3:26 p.m. and 3:28 p.m. I will truly miss my friend, he was dear to my heart & I know Chris is in a better place with his parents and brother up in Heaven. “Chris truly earn his wings and crown”. May God give the family strength and comfort through this time of sorrow. Love all of you very much. Jackie!
