I am so very sorry for your loss of Cassandra, even though I didn't get to know her personally. Losing a dear loved one in death can be one of the hardest things for us to go through. My sincere condolences go out to all the friends and family. But death is not the end for our loved ones the Bible promises a wonderful hope for the future. It's found at Acts 24:15 which says,"There is going to be a resurrection of both the righteous and the unrighteous." So in the very near future our dear loved ones will be awakened and resurrected back to life. What a wonderful time we have to look forward to!
