Carrie Mae Johnson

Charlotte-  Carrie Mae Johnson, 77, of Charlotte passed away on June 30, 2015 at Carolinas Healthcare System Hospital, Pineville. Carrie began her career at Good Samaritan Hospital as a registered nurse and worked for more than 50 years as an RN with outstanding service in several areas of health care. Preceding Carrie in death was her mother, Viola Powell, her brother David Powell, her daughter Denise Patterson, and twin granddaughters Monica and Monique Ryder

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, July 8 at 11 a.m. at Grier Memorial Chapel, 115 John McCarroll Avenue; visitation will be held prior to the service at 10:30 a.m.She is survived by her loving daughters Delia Rene Williams (Harold) and Valerie Patterson, grandchildren Ivory Williams, Royhame Williams and Shaheem Williams, great grandson Isaiah Frederic and other family members and friends whom loved and cared for her deeply The family will be meeting at 6445 Saint Bernard Way, Charlotte, NC 28269.
