Annie Pearl (Lawrence) Webber

Mrs. Annie Pearl Webber, 91, peacefully transitioned to be with the Lord on October 20, 2015 at Cleveland County Hospice of Kings Mountain. A native of Cleveland County,  Annie was born on April 28, 1924 to the late Johnny and Pearl Lawrence.

She was a faithful member of Pine Grove Primitive Baptist Church and was the “Mother of the Church”. She retired  from PPG  Industries after 20 years. Annie loved to sew, spend time with her family and she loved hats. Her favorite phrase was, “You know I love you too”.                                                                                                                                    

In addition to her parents, Annie was preceded in death by her husband, Lester Webber, Jr.; her son, Lawrence Webber and her brothers, Cotie Lawrence, Sr., Mettie Lawrence, James Lawrence, Johnny Lawrence, Jr., Charlie Lawrence and Thurman Lawrence.                                                                             

Annie leaves to cherish fond memories her children, Carolyn (George)Surratt of Lawndale, NC, Annie R. Mobley, Elzine (William) Schenck, Nelson (Mary Anne) Webber, Philann (Joseph) Smith, Bradley Webber, all of Shelby, NC, Mary Helen Lattimore of Rock Hill, SC and Lester B. Webber of Lawndale, NC; brothers, Barry Lawrence, Paul(Theodosia) Lawrence, Frank (Marie) Lawrence, Dave(Annie) Lawrence, Bobby(Gwendolyn) Lawrence and  Isaac (Joyce) Lawrence; one sister, Aileen Fredrick  and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren other loved ones and friends.

The family will be receiving friends from 5-7:00p.m., Friday, October 23, 2015 at Genesis Funeral Services & Chapel and at other times, the home of Mr. & Mrs. Nelson Webber, 3307 Oakcrest Dr.

Visitation at the church will be held 30 minutes prior to the funeral service

Funeral Services will be held at 2:00pm, Saturday, October 24, 2015 at Pine Grove Primitive Baptist Church, Lawndale, NC
